Miche da Prato nel 1141 portò dalla Terra Santa la cintola di Nostra Signora che fu posta nella Pieve vecchia di Prato appunto.Consegnata a Uberto preposto della Pieve fu tenuta per gran tempo in grande venerazione.L’anno 1313 fu rubata da un pratese che come sacrilego venne condannato a morte.
